The facility is maintained by the Mandan School District. The Mandan Aquatic Center is a unique partnership between Mandan Park District and Mandan School District. Get your friends together for an exclusive swim party! Sorry, inner tubes and 2 man rafts are not allowed in the pool. The smallest is great for young children and the others are fun for everyone! This combined with our low general swim rates, makes for some genuine low cost recreation fun. We have four water slides to choose from. The pool has ramp access and locker rooms that are equipped with handicap lifts, so that no one has to miss out on the fun. Rain checks must be used during the current pool season.The Mandan Aquatic Center pool is an 8 lane, 50 meter pool with a separate dive well. If the pool closes during a session, you will receive a rain check. If the air temperature is not 66 degrees by 11am, the pools will not open. Whenever inclement weather threatens participants or lightning is spotted, the pools will close.
Please use the trash containers and help keep the park clean. Any child or person not fully toilet trained must wear a swim diaper. Use of the Splash Pad during severe weather conditions is prohibited. No skateboards, roller blades, bicycles, or scooters allowed on the Splash Pad. 
Do not carry sand or mud onto the Splash Pad. Persons with open sores, infections or transmittable diseases are prohibited from use. Do not block Splash Pad fixtures or drains. No food, drink or glass containers allowed on Splash Pad. All children ages 10 and under must be supervised by an adult. Water is controlled by a button – push for 15 minutes of fun. Located in Lions Park, with nearby green space, playgrounds, tennis courts and reservable shelters. Tipping cone, climbing wall, umbrella jet. Two longer slides (170 feet and 155 feet). Coupon books may be purchased at the pools or at the Park District Office, 400 E. 12 admissions with Hillside Waterslide for $50. Patches are for sale during regular swimming hours at pools or the Park District Office, 400 E. $75 per person with Hillside Waterslide (discounted for 2023). $5 per person with Hillside Waterslide (48″ height requirement). 
Daycare Ratio: 6 children/daycare supervisor (no exceptions).Children age 8 and under must be accompanied by someone age 16 or older.
